Week of June 28, 2022
Here is what to expect for the week ahead and an AuraArt print to illustrate the energies above and within us. Enjoy!
This week feels like the balmy air where a group of women meet in the basement after midnight to plan their escape. It’s quiet, diligent, and almighty powerful, but the night is still dark. All you can see are the glow of lanterns and passion burning in their bellies, but what will become of it is more than you could ever have imagined.
Tuesday kicks off this week with a powerful New Moon in Cancer that has the support of Lillith (the wild femme), Jupiter (the jolly expander), and Venus (the ultimate attractor). You can find more details about this New Moon here, but in short, this is about to be one of the most manifest-ready New Moons of the whole year. Making an effort to dip into something that feels like magic to you is encouraged. Now is the time to get ready to make your January 2023 dreams come to life.
Neptune is stationing retrograde, which begins a long-term cycle (not like Mercury retrograde) that is meant to help you reevaluate your connection and relationship with spirituality. The clarity you will have over the coming weeks will be unmatched as the planet of the intangible turns on its side to dump out all of the details we might normally miss in the Neptunian haze. More on this here! You’re gonna want to read this if you have a lot of Pisces in your chart.
Wednesday is still a great time to do witchy things if you didn’t get to on Tuesday. Take some time to process any emotions that are coming up. Since Chiron is in the mix, and not in a pretty way, you might drag up some deep-rooted feelings from earlier in your life that maybe didn’t get properly digested at the time. Look at this New Moon clean slate as an opportunity to regurgitate the past so you can let it go once and for all. This beginning is too good to stay hooked on things that only get in the way now. Uranus offers support to help you break free of anything that feels like a restraint. It’s ok to be a little radical on Wednesday.
New beginning vibes will linger through a good portion of Thursday, but this might be the point in time where you decide you want to take action. However, don’t get too far ahead of yourself. The Cancer Moon makes a sharp angle to both Mars and Pluto, so if you drive too fast, you might pop a tire. This could manifest as tension between you and another person, your job, or an internal struggle you have yet to move past. Be gentle with yourself because things will clear up in the evening (8:40pm EDT) under the Leo Moon.
If it didn’t come up on Thursday, it will Friday! Mars and Pluto meet in a tight square and since the Moon is in fiery Leo instead of sappy Cancer, things might just burst into flames. If you want something, nothing is going to stop you from going after it. However, it’s not a good look to step on other’s backs on the way to the top. Leo reminds us to pull our shy friends on stage with us instead of hogging the spotlight. If you find yourself in a dispute or just plain exhausted, take some time to regroup instead of rushing into the next thing Friday evening.
Don’t believe anything you hear on Saturday. Mercury is in a square to Neptune, and when this happens, we’re more susceptible to scams and believing the bullsh*t that comes out of other’s mouths. There might be quite a few outrageous claims on the news today, if so, there’s probably information left out that we don’t know. This is the ultimate conspiracy theory aspect. Lean into the Leo Moon’s opposition to Saturn for a dose of healthy discernment, even if it feels like its raining on your parade.
Sunday’s Virgo Moon won’t entertain anything too far-fetched, which is healthy if we got a little carried away on Saturday. It’s the perfect Sunday for getting your life together and making moves for the week ahead. Act with the future in mind, and make choices that you’ll feel good about down the road, even if it’s not as delicious or fun. Sit back, do your thing, and watch the crazy unfold around you. It’s a good day to collect as much information as possible without telling anyone what you know––it might be more valuable than you realize, or ruffle unnecessary feathers.
Monday offers a load of fresh air as Mars cools down a bit, moving into Taurus. This one is quite an energetic jump, going from fighting to picnicking in the field of lavender. Mercury also moves from its home of Gemini to Cancer. Instead of a tweet, we get a sappy love note or a tattered recipe card. The overall gist of today might not be so cozy as we’ll be operating on the 29th shadow degrees of Aries and Gemini, which can be quite impulsive, detached, and independent to a fault. Don’t leave the people you need in the dust over something silly.
Next week should be quite different from this one. Cancer season is my favorite time of year to do natal chart readings because we are so much more in tune with ourselves and our emotions. If you’re ready to take the plunge, I’m ready when you are.
