Week of March 21, 2022
Here is what to expect for the week ahead and an AuraArt print to illustrate the energies above and within us. Enjoy!
The Moon is growing smaller all week and because of that, it can feel like a scramble to all of the ducks in a row before time runs out. This isn’t helped by the Sun’s recent ingress into Aries, the cardinal fire sign of power, initiation, and quick action.
There is a massive upside to this week, and it’s the Astrological New Year! While the Georgian calendar begins on January 1st, natural time suggests that the start of a new cycle coincides with the first sprouts of spring, around March 20th. If you fell off the wagon with New Year’s goals around the technical New Year, this is the perfect time to get into spring cleaning to shed, discard, let go of, and say “goodbye” to anything you want to leave in the past. You’ll have until April 1st to do the dirty work before the New Moon, which is the most potent New Moon of the year for wish making and manifesting.
On Monday, the Moon is in Scorpio. With the Sun and Mars in signs ruled by daring, intense, and action oriented Mars, Monday is sure to feel like a tornado- hard and fast with a sure crash. Take it easy in the afternoon. You might encounter experiences throughout the day that trigger old wounds, but you might be surprised at how far you’ve come in your healing journey based on your reaction. The evening will feel more at ease than the afternoon, so make amends, clear the air, and give yourself a rest tonight.
Tuesday encourages you to blast through your morning with as much gunpowder you can pack until 12:01pmEDT when the Moon will start shifting signs. It might be hard to get things done and there could be a jealous vibe in the air until the Moon enters Sagittarius at 3:00PM EDT. Try not to rock the boat too much as Mars and Uranus battle it out. Tuesday is not a day to screw around, bluff, or take abrupt action to make a point because it will backfire. You might be fruitful if you try to do a late afternoon/evening work sesh.
Try not to force words on Wednesday as Mercury and Neptune unite in conjunction. You might be better off communicating with your aunt on the other side than the person right in front of you. Business meetings? It’s gonna be “no” from me. Plan to use today for creative brainstorming and if you’re lucky, get OOO to enjoy something beautiful and magical.
Thursday is one of those days where the Moon is rocky all day, and in a sign like Sagittarius, this could lead to reckless activity and impulsive decisions that put you in a tough spot. Be creative, but try not to use your creative energy on getting yourself out of trouble. The air will grow more serious at 5:54pmEDT when the Moon enters Capricorn saying “go home, you’re drunk!"
Friday will be a day for catching up on connecting the dots that were just not coming together Thursday. Try not to be hard on yourself, though. The voices in your head that are telling you that you haven’t worked hard enough are just voices, and you can choose whether or not you’ll listen to them. You might have a breakthrough in the afternoon as the Moon meets Uranus! It’s a good night to make spontaneous plans with reliable friends who will always come through. Stick to what you know and you’re sure to have a good time.
Prepare to have some weird dreams when you wake up Saturday morning as Pluto meets Mercury in a sextile. This is the last day Mercury is in Pisces, which means that when it comes to connecting with others on an intellectual level and getting our points across, things should soon be clearer. Saturday might feel a little heavy but it’s a good day to go deep with someone you easily connect with, especially if you’ve been going through it. Make your plans for the night earlier in the day so that you aren’t scrambling from 7:51pmEDT to 8:55pmEDT when the Moon is non-committal and shaky. The late night hours are perfect for socializing, healthy debating, or watching a documentary under the Aquarius Moon.
Mercury moves into Aries at 3:44amEDT, which will bring a fresh energy to Sunday’s brunch conversation. People will not hold back, so if you don’t want the truth, it’s best not to ask for it. While the early part of Sunday could feel breezy, things are likely to take more colorful turn come dinner time. Opt for brunch over fam dinner because tempers will be flaring and surprises abundant.
What are you looking forward to this week?
