How to deal with the Moon Wobble of Summer 2022
From August 6-16, we are trying to find balance during the second Moon Wobble of 2022. You can find more information about this phenomenon in my article What in the world is a Moon wobble?
In short, Moon Wobbles occur four time a year, varying based on the position of the lunar nodes. The lunar nodes are mathematical points where the two points of the Moon's orbital path crosses the ecliptic. When we have a Moon Wobble, the Sun makes a tough angle to the nodes, which happens quarterly.
Since astrology examines the psychological influence of the planetary movement and the Moon holds the key to the patterns in our emotions the Moon Wobble is what it sounds like––emotional instability.
The Nodes are in Taurus and Scorpio through July 2023 so this means that in 2022 we will have four Moon Wobbles that occur when the Sun is in Aquarius, Taurus, Leo, and Scorpio. This is the third Moon wobble of the year.
Since the Sun is in Leo, the Moon will make a 90° square to the lunar nodes in Taurus and Scorpio. A 90° square creates pressure between to energies that don’t agree on much other than that neither of them will budge to meet in the middle.
How might this manifest in your life?
The Moon Wobble is happening in the sign of Leo, a fixed fire sign that is known for bringing spice to life through dramatic stories and iconic glam. Since Moon Wobbles usually bring out the shadow side of the sign in which they occur, you can expect this to induce more drama into your life. The people around you might be more sensitive and reactive, and there might be more he-said-she-said conflicts in your orbit.
This is also the sign of self-actualization, so you’re apt to feel more self-conscious and insecure about things you might not normally think about. You and others might compete for the center stage and feel slighted if you don’t receive the appreciation you expected.
